We are Partners with 57357 Children’s Cancer Hospital Foundation in the International Accreditation Initiative for Health Facilities (JCI). It is Egypt’s first time to have 60 pharmacists and doctors earn JCI accreditation in quality management and hospital management. We are so glad to be a member of this great work that serves tons of thousands who really in need of care and medications. Proceeding our plan to serve more, we sponsored 57357 Ramadan advertisement 2018 and engaging with our superstar, Tamer Hosny, who have had so much fun with the children.
Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation – Aswan Heart Center
Hand in hand, we are building a healthier future for our children. EVA Pharma in recognition of contributions, we supported Dr. Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation - Aswan Heart Center’s to drastically reduce the number of children on the open-heart surgery waiting list. Right through finishing the two buildings (an outpatient clinic and a specialized center) in Heart Research, which are serving around 50 thousand people on an annual basis to fulfill our goal of providing the medical-care highest level.
Believing in the work of the community, the importance of disease prevention and strengthening the protection against Cardiovascular Diseases; we have participated in the national program for the prevention of Cardiovascular Diseases and Rehabilitation of the heart patient. Our main objective was publishing this awareness campaign and urge people to make check-ups to diagnose if there are any symptoms.
We initiated the Parkinson awareness campaign under the tutelage of the Ministry of Health and the Egyptian association of neurology, psychiatry, and neurosurgery. Our aims were increasing the people’s awareness of the disease early diagnosis importance in order to obtain the appropriate medication and reduce the disease symptoms. This campaign served the Delta Governorates including Cairo, Giza and Alexandria.
In line with the Government's orientation towards raising health and community awareness, and its constant keenness to provide a high level of community service to the Egyptians, and the duty endeavor of EVA Pharma Pharmaceutical Company towards the Egyptian patient we have launched a national campaign to treat peripheral neuritis under the name "your sense of grace". This campaign aims to raise the awareness of these patients about peripheral neuritis, its various causes, and its symptoms. In addition to urging them to diagnose it very early, follow up with a doctor for better treatment results, and to avoid severe complications that may lead to amputation or death.
Under the sponsorship of the Egyptian Ministry of Health and National Council for Women, EVA Pharma launched the FEM.FM campaign for spreading awareness of Fibromyalgia Syndrome which is a common disease among females aged between 30-50 years old.
FM is one of the most common misdiagnosed conditions that happens because of the similarities in symptoms with other diseases and a shortage of clinical tests. Both reasons lead to wrong treatments or negative feedback to the patient about her psychological condition.
In rapport with our company beliefs about the importance of community services and that we are all members of one body, EVA Pharma has launched an awareness campaign to urge people to stop smoking. This campaign reached various people, especially when we decided to share it with the public in different districts. Not only that but also we created different booths to help people quitting smoking in applicable ways. Since we are unique, we have chosen to present this subject uniquely. We have directed our campaign towards the relatives and friends of the smoker because, recently, we have noticed their acceptance of this phenomenon without taking any reaction befitting this harmful act.
The EVA Pharma campaign to eliminate HBV and HCV infections was directed to unaware people of their infection symptoms.
We launched this campaign to raise awareness and break down the barriers to diagnose people who are living with HBV and HCV. So we had to shed the light on its deceiving symptoms on World Hepatitis Day.
According to the World Health Organization, we are looking for the infected person and strive in our laboratories to reach the suitable treatment and provide it to the local and global markets imminently.
In consideration of EVA Pharma as being an Egyptian national company, we believe in Egypt's pioneering work in the Middle East and Africa. It was natural to send medical missions and convoys to developing African countries and provide medical and treatment services at the highest level. We served Six African countries, about 100,000 people, who were in real need of care. In line with UN SDGs, we have also provided social and cultural services and financial donations.
Annual Orphan Day Celebration
EVA Pharma is celebrating World Orphan Day on April 16th, each year. Our celebration is covering children from local orphanages, staff members and their families. We strive to provide the right atmosphere to infuse the spirit of joy and fun. In 2017, we celebrated in Al-Azhar Park, the celebration included four orphanages and the presence of DJ and different games gave the spirit that children need.
For the efforts of EVA Pharma in the field of vitamin D, we launched an awareness campaign in 2018 to urge citizens to be aware of vitamin D deficiency. Because of the terrible setbacks and anticipation of any symptoms. The campaign included a donation of one million dosages of Ossofortin (treatment of vitamin D deficiency).
