Floxabact (levofloxacin) is a synthetic chemotherapeutic antibiotic of the fluoroquinolone drug class.
Floxabact is used to treat a number of infections including: respiratory tract infections, cellulitis, urinary tract infections, prostatitis, anthrax, endocarditis, meningitis and traveler's diarrhea.
Floxabact is available in two concentrations: 250 mg and 500 mg.
Floxabact is characterized by its once daily dose which improves patient compliance and increases treatment success.
