Under the sponsorship of the Egyptian Ministry of Health and National Council for Women, EVA Pharma launched the FEM.FM campaign for spreading awareness of Fibromyalgia Syndrome, a common disease among females aged between 30-50 years old.
FM is one of the most common misdiagnosed conditions that happen because of the similarities in symptoms with other diseases and a shortage of clinical tests. Both reasons lead to unsuitable treatments or negative feedback to the patient regarding their psychological condition.
Ignorance of this condition is the main problem, but being aware of it is the first step in recovering. We made up our campaign by social media awareness campaigns, on-ground events, supporting-groups, and other activities. With the help of our experts who provided all kinds of support and all over the country.
The campaign aims were, mainly, reaching the affected females, providing awareness, giving advice, and psychological support in addition to helping them to overcome the condition. We, also, directed our campaign toward their relatives and friends to inform them about the sufferings of the infected female with Fibromyalgia Syndrome.
