General Summary
Responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product positioning, working closely with sales, training and other supportive departments, new product development and product launch.
Job Duties And Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
- Designs a marketing plan that enhances achieving realistic targets and objectives over the short and long terms
- Works in a team-based environment to assess changing market dynamics, competitive activity and product lifecycle in refining strategies and implementing tactics to maximize sales, market share and profitability for assigned product.
- Applies and build upon marketing principles to understand and guide the direction of the company product.
- Utilizes key analytical marketing tools to manage the assigned product.
- Executes projects including development of sales force and sales education materials, and medical meeting exhibits.
- Responsible for having creative and suitable packaging, brochures and designs for our pharmaceutical products through coordinating with graphic designers.
- Develop a clear product positioning that differentiate our products within an existing competitive environment.
- Run pilot programs with early-stage products and samples
- Effectively Initiates internal & external communication:
- Internal:
a- With Marketing Manager to follow up approvals and reports.
b- With sales department in terms of:
- Training the new members of the team
- Stress on messages in monthly meetings
- Promotional strategies in cycle meetings
- Feedbacks - obtaining sales input necessary to development of effective brand promotional plans.
- Arrangement of RTDs(Round Table Discussions), symposia & participation in scientific conferences. studying & replying the customer requests.
- Field double visits with the Medical reps.
- Communicates, supports and motivates District Managers in the execution of the promotional plans.
c- Regulatory affairs department to get the necessary information about the assigned products under his/her responsibility.
a-With Media and Creative agencies for the development of the promotional materials.
b- Key customers and opinion leaders.
c- Hotels, airlines & universities.
d- Outsourcers.
Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor Degree in any pharmacy or medicine
Language Skills: Correct English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation.
